- May 12, 2010 - 2002 V-Red Prospects Win Silver in New Hampshire !
The 2002 V-Red Prospects won Silver at the Reebok Cup, which took place in Hooksett, New Hampshire, on May 7-9. The host NH Knights defeated the V-Reds in the championship game 8-1. The V-Reds defeated the NH Select Stars 4-3 in the semis to advance to the final after Peter Reynolds scored the winner in OT with a high shot from the corner that deflected off the goaltenders mask. Other tournament highlights included a 5 goal performance from Dawson Stairs in the V-Reds 5-4 victory over the CT Islanders with 4 of Dawson's goals scored in the last 6 minutes of the third period, as well as some spectacular saves from V-Reds goaltender Wyatt Pike.
